Casa Azucena is named after the compassionate matriarch who belonged to one of the oldest families and first settlers in this part of Misamis Oriental. She was a deeply religious woman whose kindheartedness and generosity touched so many lives. In her honour, Casa Azucena aims to maintain a wholesome, family-oriented and heartwarming environment for our guests. Most of our regular patrons are students, parents, professionals, traders and personnel of domestic and foreign non-government organizations.
Casa Azucena is a traveler’s haven that offers all the basic amenities of a hotel. It is conveniently located right in the heart of downtown Cagayan de Oro City (CDO), yet partly secluded inside a compound that offers ample security and the ambiance of home. Plaza Divisoria, one of the City’s historical landmark, is where you will find almost all of the popular fast food chains and local coffee shops plus it is just a short walk away. The prestigious Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan) is just around the corner and the famous St. Augustine Cathedral, Gaston Park and City Hall are a few short blocks away.
When you stay in Casa Azucena, our friendly and courteous personnel will immediately affirm that Cagayan de Oro is indeed the City of Golden Friendship.
